2008-2009 Member of the board of the K.G.R. "De Hunze", where I was responsible for maintenance of the fleet and purchasing and selling of boats.
2006-2008 Member of the board of the K.G.R. "De Hunze", where I was responsible for the coordination of the rowing activities for senior rowers (18+) for which I introduced a new policy.
2002-2007 Active use of license to act as umpire at rowing races
2000-2002 Coordinator of the regional rowing competition. During this time I was responsible for the organization of the competition and have introduced a new system to make the races more competitive.
1999-2001 Member of the audit committee of the ``Fysisch-Mathematische Faculteitsvereniging'' (FMF), the student association for students in (Applied) Physics, Astronomy, Mathematics and Computer Science.
1998-1999 Abactis (secretary) of the board of the FMF. During this time I was responsible for external mailings, the internal administration and solving problems within several committees of the association.
