Stefan J. Wijnholds, "Deep Calibration & Imaging With SKA - Where we are and where we should be going", SKA Calibration & Imaging Workshop, Cape Town (South Africa), 3-7 December 2012

abstract: The unprecedented dynamic range envisaged to be achieved by the SKA begs for answers to a number of fundamental and practical questions in the areas of design of the telescope and processing of the data. We need to answer these questions to ensure by design that the SKA can live up to its expectations. In this talk, I present an overview of questions that have been raised in the framework of the AAVP programme and discuss the (partial) answers that have been found to date. Based on this assessment of the current status, I conclude with a list of open issues.
